Me too. In the summer of 1963, an 11 and 1/2 year old kid finally worked up the courage to phone the local radio station's request line and ask them to play "Surfin USA", which had peaked in April. That was my first ever request to a radio station. I still love Surfin USA. I was just getting into early 60's rock. Little did I know at the time that in a few months, 4 guys from Liverpool would destroy the music I loved.
Beach Boys will live forever Walter...i'm from 1951 also....

supervij 2007-03-29, 11:33 PM I know I'm one of the few North Americans who like Oasis, so this may not go over too well, but . . .
Live Forever, by Oasis. A song that's meant to be sung loud to the heavens.
cheers,
supervij
