Interesting but Phone Booth and Something about Mary are hardly titles for the "WOW" effect.

I saw the unit for $999 at Futureshop today (new not open box) for anyone interested.

With the new model coming out in Mid-May, expect the price to keep on dropping. That's the good news. The number and quality of the movies is another.

I want 1 or 2 wow movies/month and then i'm there. I don't even need the ability to tape HD.

What gets annoying is seeing Gladiator (SKG/Universal) and ET (Universal) broadcast HD on TV but neither being announced as a DTheater titles despite both studios supporting the format.

Even just the Spielberg films from Universal and SKG would be a heck of a great collection.
