I was in there last night and they have a display of a few hd sets. Underneath them is a rogers box and a starchoice hd receiver. On the Rogers box, which I believed to be a non pvr, the tag underneath it said record one channel while watching another, well it sounds like a pvr alright by the description on the tag, but wait $ 299.99 for a 6208? Isn't that a little cheap? Maybe they have come down that much but seemed like a good price. they do have a pvr model for sure under a small set off to the right of the main display. Anyway thought I would share in case it is a deal and oh yeah if it is, try not to scare them about it so I can pick one up next week.

heh, you better grab it quick. I don't even see the 6208 on their website, only the 6200 & the 8300. :o I see the 8300 is listed as a clearance item for $399.99 though.

A 6208 only has one tuner, so, you could watch something previously recorded on the HDD, while another show is being recorded off the single tuner, at the same time. The 6412 is the one w/ two tuners. So, you can watch a show live, whilst another is recording on the second tuner. It would appear The Source is a little confused about the two DCTs.

And the 8300 is for customers in Ontario. They for the most part only use SA gear and everyone in NB and NL use Moto gear (700, 2000, 2500, 6200, and 6208).
