: Is the guide often wrong for everyone or just us?

The Rogers guide in Newfoundland when it comes to a number of TV shows and movies is often wrong. I am no talking about just being off by 30 min or by any amount of time. I am saying that it says that movie "X" is playing and movie "Y" is really playing. Often the show that they say is playing will not even be playing anytime that day on that channel.

I have a Microsoft Media Center and Snapstream (Beyond TV) and both of them show the right TV show at the right shows.

Is this a common Rogers problem or only in Newfoundland?

Its common, I have the same issues with Shaw in Vancouver. I emailed their customer service and was told its not their fault but the fault of the company the service is outsourced too not being given accurate information from the networks. I also explained in a response that my web guides were accurate and they simply regurgitated the same response.

Yup. The problem is generally everywhere. I rely exclusively on my MCE 2005 boxes due to the foolishness as well as the fact that Rogers only provides us Atlantic Canadians a 3 day guide.
