: Linux: no Battlefield 2 Online?

Such a shame it doesn't work the BF2 online. I've tried Ubuntu and if it could play BF2 I'd be dual booting it for sure.

I like Vista, but the disk thrashing in this game makes it unplayable. I'll be setting up a dual boot to XP over the next few days just to get back in the game.

Check Cedega to see if they have a Linux environment for BF2 in their plans.

I'm probably going to have to install an XP dual-boot in the near future when the newest IL2 combat flight sim is soon released. I have a few MS licenses so I'm okay that way, but its still a hassle to have to go that route.

I just checked and Cedega does run BF2 on Linux, but I'm not sure if its the online capability. Judging from this photo I think it does:
