I'm trying to determine what format Apocalypto will be released in. The only reference to a studio for this production seems to be Touchstone Pictures, but I cannot confirm which HD format they support.

Look at it this way - if it's not Universal, then the title will be out on Blu-ray.

Weinstein Company is also a HD DVD exclusive studio.

These would include titles like: Clerks 2, Scary Movie 4.

So if I went Blu-Ray, I'd miss these cinema masterpieces ... hmmm ... ;)

...and if it from Universal, it will not be on Blu-Ray until next year. ;)
