Hypocrite. Downloads from itunes has copy protection and only plays on ipods and itunes software.
No he's not a hypocrite. itunes has CRM because that is the only way the record companies would agree to do business with Apple.
He's saying they should drop it.

This is a step in the right direction coming from one of the "movers and shakers" of the digital media evolution. Now just get Bill Gates on board and this will be even more of a movement. Is it just media spin by Steve? Probably not but I always wonder if I will live long enough to see non-drm music available to me...
