Just as they did with the Weather Channel, the Wii News Channel became available today, a day earlier than they planned. It's a very nicely executed system if you ask me.

Its cool. I love the little map, but you should be able to zoom in closer on the map. I'm sure Nintendo will get there soon enough.

And it's even got decent (not great) Canadian news.

This is adding to my wife's daily dose of Wii along with Wii Fitness. Eventually, I fear that Nintendo will add so much stuff that it'll make her daily "Wii time" last for hours.


Ahh heck... Who am I kidding? It'll add to my daily "Wii time" as well! :D

And of course now there is the recently added "Everyone Votes" channel which is definitely shaping up to be a daily amusement.
