I just subscribed to TMN and I prefer only to watch movies in HD. I probably should've done some more reading before a subscribed, but I generally thought that every major Hollywood movie (not foreign, low budget, or Canadian) would be available in HD.

Looking through the TMN website, I just randomly noticed three major movies not available in HD: Rumor Has It, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire & Syriana. I was quite surprised.

Can any one illuminate me on what the pattern has been like of HD movie availability on TMN compared to SD? Percentage of SD titles available in HD also? Any other useful info? Thanks.

I guess you should have done that research, yes.

I would estimate that in a typical month about 1/2 the programming is HD.

For example in my January Guide on two pages I counted roughly 100 programmes and just under 50 were HD.
