I've had FTA for a couple months and its been working great. The past couple days though something weird is happening. When i'm watching t.v. the main menu keeps popping up even though i don't press the 'main menu' button. I press "guide" to try and get back to the program selection guide. It will go to the program guide, but then 2 seconds later, the main menu pops up. The main menu keeps popping up rapid fire and i don't know why it's doin that or how to stop it. Any ideas????

Sounds like your remote might be dirty. Try taking the batteries out of the remote and use the guide from the front panel (if possible).

Re flash your reciever might help if its not the remote.

One way to test the remote to see if it is sending signals when you are not pressing buttons is to take a camcorder if you have one and point the remote ir sender at the lens of the camcorder and look in the screen and you will see the white ir flashing everytime it sends a command.
If you see if flashing without you pressing buttons then you have a stuck key.

Most digital still cameras will work too.

Kinda freaky watching my remote flash away in the LCD screen! :)
