We are in the final stages of deciding to move from Calgary back to New Brunswick (Saint John). We have a 6208 and 6412 that we use with Shaw here. Will we be able to take this equipment back and have it work there? If not, is anyone aware of any trade in deals with Rogers where you would wind up with similar equipment? Or BEV for that matter if it had to come to that.

The 6208 should work, but the 6412 hasn't been released on this end yet... The rumours are that they're having problems integrating the guide or something with the hardware and the dual-tuner. From what I assume, they should be able to activate you're 6208, and who knows maybe even your 6412 - but most likely with only a single tuner. I would call in, and ask for someone in the Moncton Call center - the Ontario agents don't have a clue - nine of ten times they don't even realize that we use different equipment in the maritimes.
