True enough, I meant to mention that as well. Im in the States now receiving Directv, when i was in Canada, i was using Shaw/Bell.

I've been a happy Directv subscriber for over 10 years and I never considered going with Canadian satellite. I'm looking forward to receiving the new HD channels. As some have pointed out, some HD channels look bad (particularly NBC), while others are outstanding. ESPN, HDNET, Discovery HD are good examples.

exactly. if i have 70 different HD channels, i can handle a few looking not so great ;). Discovery HD Theater looks very, very nice.
