randle 2007-04-26, 03:15 PM av4u.ca.
I've seen some good prices there, and would like to see some feedback from the community.
johnp'in'bc 2007-06-09, 06:10 PM Hugh ... how about 'The Brick' .... I have made two major HDTV purchases from this retailer. They have a great 90-day price-protection policy, competitve pricing, and good service. Seems a shame to not see them in the list.
Thanks for your consideration.
J_gotti 2007-06-11, 07:29 PM Also what about Sears. I just finished working for Sears and they are in the middle of really trying to push their electronics department by calling it a Electronics recharge.

tigerdirect.ca
johnp'in'bc 2007-06-16, 10:21 AM Please ignore (delete) my previous post -- see The Brick is listed already, in the online retailers thread. Sorry about that.
How about a thread for Axiom Loudspeaks..

This forum is for reviews of retailers, however, I think there might be a few threads in the speaker forum discussing Axiom speaker quality.
If not. feel free to create an Axiom speaker discussion in that forum.
(i know axiom sells from their site but I think of them more of a manufacturer than retailer)

Maby we need a thread for "Retailers" who sell over the internet only .. It is quickly becoming a standard business plan .. Compnaies like Axiom, Outlaw, Emotiva and just recently HSU have moved to internet only sales, as a way to control prices and give better customer service.. Regular retail markup can make mid to highend equipment prices especially in Canada go through the roof.. These internet only company sales are a new trend that deserves some discussion.. Just a thought Hugh! Ponder and let us know what you think...

If you can PM me a bunch of those online sites (i'd like a few to be fair) then I'd be happy to set up review threads in the "Online Retailer Review" forum
Luis_A51 2007-07-23, 02:23 PM Do you have jr.com listed? I just bought my audio equipment from their website and I was very pleased.
uberchuckie 2007-09-19, 03:57 PM B&H Photo Video.
I have purchased camera lenses from them before. The prices are generally cheaper than Canadian retail.
darrylr 2007-09-19, 04:00 PM I would second B&H Photo Video. I have bought a lot of stuff from them over the years.
filper 2007-09-26, 05:54 PM I bought my Toshiba 46H84C and my main and centre Acoustic Research speakers from Sears.
I'm still happy with all. The display was price matched (and close to home), and the speakers were timbre matched (on clearance) to my now surrounds.
El Gran Chico 2007-10-05, 02:39 PM Under the GTA retailers, How about Star Electronics?
ToberMoron 2007-10-12, 06:22 PM How about DirectBuy ...??
Dr. Zoidberg 2007-10-18, 08:47 AM I'd like to see East Hamilton Radio (EHR)

MScEE 2007-11-11, 12:45 PM I had so many negative experiences with Sears Canada, that I would be able to fill in a few hundred pages.
Service warranty is terrible, price match policy is a joke as they would honor only differences of 5-10% but no more, etc.
Please open a thead on this big name dept. store (but focusing only on electronics).
james99 2007-11-11, 01:53 PM How about B&H:
