Have ordered from them 8 times and will continue to do so for many more years. I usually order long length cables (A and V) though I have ordered one TV wall mount. Extremely happy. Been dinged twice on customs. Don't mind with the savings thus far.

Best part about them is that they offer USPS (Can Post) automatically as an option rather than UPS or FedEx which is amazing.

Recently some folks have been asking why Monoprice was ******* out and why this thread is closed. The result was some upset members who felt I was hiding something.

The reality is that I was not hiding, just not choosing to disclose certain facts so here is the story.

In May of 2008, the General Manager of Monoprice contacted Digital Home and asked if they could sponsor the forum.

After several weeks of negotiations, Monoprice agreed to sponsor the forum for a year and an invoice was sent to Monoprice.

Three weeks later, I inquired where the money and ad for the forum was. The General Manager of Monoprice told me he couldn't pay Digital Home because Monoprice was having cash flow problems.

Digital Home was forced to write off a significant amount of money and despite the fact that Monoprice had reneged on the deal after agreeing to it, I choose not to speak of it because I didn't want to broadcast the fact that the company was having cash flow problems and couldn't pay its invoice.

Unfortunately, my attempts to protect the company which has serviced many members backfired and angered some members therefore I have decided to post this and let members decide if they want to shop at Monoprice or not.

I'll let you be the judge.
Going forward it will be possible to post the words Monoprice (but no links) in the shopping forum!

Some people have asked me recently about this and the same advice holds true especially in these tough economic times.
