Ordered a 5 port HDMI switch 5 1/2 weeks ago.... never got it.

E-mailed them if they had any info about tracking it. They immediately sent a new one. I hope I get it next week.

That is great customer service!

I just received my 2nd order from monoprice on Monday. From order to door was about 7 business days. I ordered a bunch of keystones, wall plates etc. totaling approx $30. No duty charge. All are great quality.

As I was writing this, I got a knock at my door. It was my 3rd monoprice order being delivered. A 20' 1.3a hdmi cable. Again about 7 business days.

I LOVE MONOPRICE!

Excellent! I've placed 2 orders from them in the last 2 months. Both orders arrived from California in 5 business days to my small rural post office, they ship same day if you order before something like 2pm EST. I had 1 order use the higher rated delivery due to weight and it took just as long which I thought was odd. The express order shipping charges were exactly what the stamp indicated on the package, and the regular shipping was actually more than I was charged! And like everyone else indicates, NO DUTY or extra taxes. First order was 50 RG6 snap-n-seal, and a PCI IDE expansion card, second order was a bunch of A/V cables (component with audio, S-video with audio, VGA with audio, etc). I work for a cabling company and can normally (at least before I heard of Monoprice) order this type of stuff wholesale from work for well less than retail. BUT, monoprice came in at a fraction of Canadian wholesale even with shipping! The PCI IDE card was $15, used seemed to be $40 on ebay, beat that.

How do you get them to "help" with your duty? I didn't see any place to ask them...Since that's illegal and not the purpose of this thread (see post 1), we will not discuss it here.

Really nice stuff. Works great. Value $49 US. Paid no duty or taxes.

Monoprice's products are so reasonably priced that I can get whatever cable I need for less than $10 including shipping.

Another satisfied customer. 9 business days to receive an 1 x HDMI, 2 x Toslink and 1 2x1 Toslink splitter all for $15 bucks. No duties. Equivalent products here would have cost $70+.

I am very pleased and will be doing another order soon.

Just have to wait for my home theater to be complete before testing some of the cabels, this was the order for all my inwall cables.

I've placed for order so far all prices have shipping included:
1. 4 6' HDMI cables $28
2. 1 3' and 1 6' toslink $16 nice and thick with metal braiding
3. Wii component cable $8
4. Wii rechargable battery packs with charger $20

still waiting on 4 but on average it took about 7-9 days to get to Toronto.

they all work great.

As long as your not in a rush you can't beat these prices. I don't think I'll ever shop retail again when it comes to cables.

I followed the advice on this board and went off to monoprice.com to order all my cables for my new amp, tv, dvd and cable box. Total order was for $110 + $40 (EMS Express shipping) came to approx $150 total. I suppose because it was a large(r) order, I got dinged with $22.19 in duty, however under $175 for about 8 different cables + 100' speaker wire beats the pants off most brick stores. Ordered on Jan 16, reached Mississauga Jan 23.

Very satisfied, highly recommended. My only gripe would be that the premium HDMI cables I ordered, while very well built, appear to be fairly heavy with the nylon casing, and as a result when plugged into the back of my LCD, tend to slant down in the connector due to the weight. I'm concerned an awkward pull of the cable might render the TV HDMI connector useless, however it seems to be okay for now. Needless to say, all the cables are top-notch quality.

Bought an Optical Toslink to Coaxial (RCA) Digital Audio Converter for $15.30 (which is a steal from The Source's $50 price) but it took almost 3.5 weeks to get delivered to Northern AB. Lucky thing I wasn't in a hurry for it.

Great prices, unit works great and good communication from Monoprice..Thumbs up and hopefully next time shipping speed will improve

Ordered 10ft HDMI cable for $4.00 and 6ft optical toslink cable for $3.00, total with shipping came to $13. I was not charged any duty/taxes. This was my first time ordering from Monoprice. Ordered May 07 and arrived May 23. Cables seem to be about the same quality as the stuff I can get from my local computer store. Overall, a very smooth transaction. I will probably order from them again.

Just ordered two 6' HDMI cables and a USB to serial converter, not only were they very well priced on both items (on the usb to serial cable they were $15 less than anyone else), their shipping rates were exactly what you'd call "reasonable" - shipping seems to be where most retailers would try to compensate for their low prices.

Very satisfied!

Just received a 1.5 ft. optical cable and the optical cable switch (3 in 1). Paid $10 for both items and $4 for shipping. Took about a week to get here (Newfoundland). Great price and great shipping.
