Life Network, an analog specialty service with a wide distribution of approximately six million households, will be re-born as SLICE in early March 2007.
SLICE will cater to the highly sought-after target of viewers 18 - 49, with a core demographic of women in their thirties. With guilty pleasure viewing, SLICE brings an unapologetic attitude to topics that
matter to women - family, fashion, relationships, celebrity, finances and gossip - to name just a few.

Why not just gut the channel altogether and bring in the American counterparts we have wanted for so many years, Lifetime, Oxygen, etc... I am sure their drivel can go to other networks we carry crap on in Canada already.

Just heard that the Life Network is rebranding itself to Slice, programming geared towards women between 18-25. Probably time for a change... was never a fan of the Life Network... mind you i'm not a woman either so it still probably wont apply to me :P

Hmmm. The Women's network rebrands itself as W and changes its previous focus, now Life goes Slice and changes its focus.

I really don't like the new name slice replace lifenetwork but only show that
watch nanny 911 it on every saturday 11am I sure don't like the time because
children are usally up they should put nanny 911 at 10pm saturday night because most children are sleeping at the time.

I saw on one of the show's ending credits, it said copyright 2006 Slice network.. so they were using the slice name back in 2006 when their shows were recorded, or maybe they just "edited" the credits to incorporate "slice" to replace all instances of "life network"
