That is not the DVI that you think it is from PC-speak. That is a secure input reserved for DVI-eeady devices like DVD players. It is not merely a digital video input like you would see on a flat LCD panel although the connector looks to be the same. I don't know what would happen if you tried to connect to it, but Toshiba is very specific about it NOT being a PC port and I'd not try it, at least not without assurance from your dealer that he'll get you a new box if it causes any problems. I have yet to see a DVD player equipped with DVI output, BTW. Supposedly the only way the industry would allow hi-def DVDs was with a secure port standard. There is discussion on this topic elsewhere on this forum. I can't remember all the details.
