: Cogeco Cable adds Leafs TV HD to its digital line-up in Ontario
jamcan 2007-10-11, 03:34 PM WOOOOOHOOOOOO...... FINALLY! .... Cogeco came through for it's subscribers. Both channels 467 & 276 are up on the guide. I was almost thinking that Cogeco, J.Ferguson Jr. & Paul Maurice were working together to keep it off the air so we wouldn't be able to see the game in such clarity and witness another possible spanking by a Leafs opponent ....lol GO LEAF GO
Leafs Nation 2007-10-11, 04:47 PM Now that Cogeco has added a channel to show Leaf TV (Games only) in HD. I wonder if they will be planning on adding Raptors HD the same way? Maybe they can share this channel (276 or 467), so when there are Leafs games on Leafs TV then it will be broadcasted on this channel and when there aren't any Leaf TV games on, then they show Raptor games when they are supposed to be on Raptors HD?
Lets hope so.
Leafs (and RAPS) Nation
asif9t9 2007-10-11, 06:10 PM Not sure if the shared channel will work. Leafs HD games are on Thurs nights, and so is the TNT HD games that would show on Raps HD. But I do believe that Cogeco will give us Raps HD by the time they have the first HD Raps game.
james99 2007-10-11, 10:25 PM I keep forgetting Toronto has a basketball team. Does anybody care?

James,
The Raptors are a pretty good team and they might just win a championship before the leafs do, lol you never know.
Anyways Great Game tonight Leafs, Cudos to Sundin in breaking the record and cudos to Cogeco, Leafs Nation Fans, the Leafs and Leafs TV HD for putting on an excellent show.
GO LEAFS GO!!

Thanks for being a fan! We hope that you enjoy all the excitement that the 2007/08 season will bring to Leafs TV."
Glad to Hear that all 20 Leafs games will be broadcast in HD on Cogeco.
Thank You Very Much Cogeco!!
james99 2007-10-12, 08:51 AM I heard Rogers subs had technical problems with this channel last night. Did these issues exist on Cogeco?
MDU_PVR_Please 2007-10-12, 10:04 AM "And the 12 regular season telecasts will be shot in high definition television. For Thursday’s game, only Rogers Cable (channel 500) and Bell ExpressVu (channel 848) will provide an HDTV channel for the telecast."

No problems with the Cogeco LTVHD last night, picture quality was great and sound was good too. I didn't see any of the intermission portions but the game itself was awesome.
Dude, that link is from 2006
Bucknet 2007-10-12, 12:18 PM We have just received our press release, Leafs TV in HD on Cogeco

Leafs Nation 2007-10-12, 05:22 PM I keep forgetting Toronto has a basketball team. Does anybody care?
I think the 17, 000 + fans that show up at the ACC for home games and others that watch them on TV care. James, why is it that you spend your time posting negative comments in forums that you do not care about? You hated the idea of Leafs TV HD from the mintue people started asking for it, and now you are starting with the Raptors bashing.
Maybe you're just bitter that your TCM has not be added first.
james99 2007-10-12, 06:10 PM Like it or not the Raptors get horrible tv ratings (the 17,000 are watching in person). I don't want valuable bandwidth wasted. It's happening now with other channels, don't need another.
Since bandwidth effects everybody, then I have no problem chiming in when I think it's being mis-used.
In regards to Leafs HD, I have always stated that I would be in favour of just the games in HD but not a dedicated 24/7 HD channel.
Doug30 2007-10-12, 09:31 PM Last to know eh Bucknet?
Bucknet 2007-10-16, 10:46 AM Not really, I was fully aware that this was comming weeks ago. But thanks.
Doug30 2007-10-16, 02:06 PM Thanks for what?
Yateball 2007-10-16, 02:17 PM Bah! Not available in Sarnia!
And that's not even near the Ottawa region, we're zoned as leaf nation.
Sarnia always gets the shaft from cogeco, it sucks.
