Rogers tailers there programming for the region. Unfortenetly even if Bell did that with spotbeams they would still have no room for more channels.

When I got BEV and there HD package they had the best package in the GTA. I think many more people would argue the competitors have caught up and have surpassed them now with HD channel lineup.

Anyways the last several post have been offtopic and probably should be moved. I used to smile when I heard the BEV advertisments about the most HD channels. Now I sour taste.

I'd take Oasis over any of these brain-dead "contest" programs any day. If I find on any given evening that the channels are loaded with these "contests", then I turn to Oasis or catch up on my PVR recordings. Consider for one moment what it must cost the Networks to produce this kind of programming and it becomes obvious that it is a plain and simple cost cutting exercise. Paradoxical that they should be adopting these measures while at the same time supposedly promoting HDTV. Then you are all wondering how you are all going to be treated by Bell with the advent of MPEG4. If the "contest" programming is any indication of how gullible most viewers are then all I can say is watch out for the lemmings for they will trample you all into the ground in their mad rush to mediocrity.

not sure what a brain dead contest program is but I would really really like to have NG HD. maybe I should take another look at Oasis? When I was looking at it before they had some nice looking shows but they were always repeating themselves. Then they would come back again a week or month later again and repeat again.
