This problem has also occurred on the 4700. Definitely hardware though since an off an on "cures" the problem (at least temporarily)

I was the one person that hadn't experienced it till last night. Got it while watching Leno. I hit the HD/SD button waited a second and then hit it again and I was back in sync. I noticed that the audio was ahead of the video which was what I expected. Has any one ever seen it the other way around?

Hi,

I too get the audio sync problem with my 6000. I just turn it off and back on. I had this problem on 299 with my 3100 before i owned my 6000.

Does anyone get a green cross hatch or scrren appearance glitch in video at night on channel 286? It comes and goes at various points on the screen. Is this from the cource or is my 6000 glitching ???

I've noticed this recently during CBS programming. It often happens when turning to ABC programming on 286, so I've always assumed it had something to do with the 6000 converting their 720P signal to 1080i.

But some viewers over at avsforum are also now reporting the green glitches on CBS, so it sounds like it might be a network thing.

Hi,

Kinda makes me feel better that it may be a network thing. I thought it may be my TV not properly converting 720p.

I'm a newbie with HDTV and the 6000 but I have noticed the same audio delay on channel 299 (and other SDTV ones). I also occasionally get picture breakup which is a pain.

I believe this used to happen sometimes on SDTV transmissions on my old TV set with the 5100 or 3100 (whatever the models were).

I seem to get great results (picture and audio) with true HDTV on channel 285 - but it's early days for me

Hi, new 6000 owner here.
I have noticed the audio sync problem, while watching Six Feet Under last night, and last week on HDTV. Tried power off/on, that didn't work. Got so bad that I switched to regular TMN to watch it. (not what I payed $800 for!)
I will try the SD/HD button to see if that fixes it.
Anyone else notice this last night?
Anyone else not able to fix it?

It is also possible that you will some times get an out of sysnc signal that originates with the broadcaster or some one else up the chain. In that case a reset won't work.

mikas wondered whether the sync issue was related to commercials -
I don't believe it is since I've seen the problem with commercial-less
TMN broadcasts.

mmerrett asked if anyone else saw the problem with Six Feet Under.
I did, both this week & last week in HDTV on my 6000.

I also saw the problem last year with my vanilaa BEV receivers
on TMN only, before I upgraded to a 5100 & 6000.
