I just tried calling them and i got a message saying they close at 9pm est since when i thought they were open 24/7????

It wouldn't bother me so much if you could do things like change channel line up, pay your bill etc on their web site. All the things that modern companies allow you to do. And if 9PM bothers you remember that is 6PM on the west coast.
