Thanks to this forum I learned I could receive SRC ( Radio Canada ) in HD OTA. Any plans to get CBC English to Quebec City soon ?
I don't plan on subscribing to BEV HD for a while as I am heading overseas to Kandahar in Aug.
I'd like to show off CBC HD in English ( sports etc ) to my army buds before leaving. My Mom in law was WOWed by skating in HD ( zzzZZZzzz ) ;)

No additional HD transmitters have been announced. I doubt the next one would go in the eastern time zone.

How about in the Maritimes? ;)

My guess (and this is purely a guess) is that Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg will be next.

Last week I noticed the watermark was a little off, at first it looked to me like they made a new one (a combination of the olympic one and the HD one) but then I was not sure what it was.

That's a mistake. It's one logo on top of another. The incoming show already had a logo then the HD station automatically inserted the other one.

thats a disastrous logo if i've ever seen one. no way that could be intentional. whoever makes a logo like that and calls it 'suitable for air' should probably be fired.

Is it just me or is anyone else out there completely fed up with the size of the bug on CBC HDTV Hockey Night in Canada. Very distracting in the uppper left hand corner of the screen and about 3 times bigger than it needs to be.

My example from the other thread.

Did anyone else notice the CBC HD feed freeze about 1 minute before the Tor/Mtl game faceoff? Something seems fishy...

The Canucks Sharks was coming in fine - nonHD and then when I go back to watch the Leafs-Habs I'm getting no picture despite 94% signal strength according to my Hitachi HDTV.

What is CBC's excuse this week? Still having crane issues!?

Anyone else having the same issue? (Just so I know I'm not going nuts).

I can't believe they picked the worst time to screw up with the signal.
And since the loss I'm on hold for Technical support.
What a service. :(

Just spoke to the tech support.
It's a CBC problem not Videotron.
What a disgrace, they should be embarassed.
