I noticed you can buy some Energy speakers from eBay... the prices look to be cheaper than Bay Bloor Radio in Toronto, but I'm not sure if there are any downsides to buying online.

I bought Energy speakers 3 years ago online from a store in Ottawa. Good customer service and good price.

I had an excellent experience with them also, just last month. I picked up a pair of their discontinued C-3's, a C-C100 centre and a small sub S 8.3 for under $900 including tax and delivery. Audio shop does have some great deals.And i will probably buy from there.I was kind of hoping to see and hear them before i bought.It was about 3 years ago i heard the energy encore series at A&B but i just couldn't afford them at the time.Did they drop the encore line and if so is there a replacement ,from reading the website i think the C-50 are the replacements not sure.

I saw some in Dumoulin today - dunno if you have that store near you (im in Montreal).
