Just what we need... another web browser. Why wouldn't they just contribute development effort to one of the existing browsers? The Mac web browser scene was already muddled enough and now there's another player.

Cause Steve likes to be different :wink:

I assume Apple does not want to use Internet Explorer for the simple fact that it's the Windows browser of choice.

If Microsoft wasn't so far behind on MacOS, there would be no need for the myriad of browsers that currently are in use on Mac. I believe the latest version of IE for OSX is 5.5.
