I'll send my complaint in now.

I had an idea: Does it make sense to subscribe to the channel every other month? I think if we all did that, wasting the CSR's time might send a message.

I don't think there is any charge for changing your channel line up.

Not a real good idea that could fall under abuse.That is the type of thing that ruins it for everyone and they will do away with the online system.

I have so many channels I never watch and still pay for, at least Howard tv I am on a constant watch over, it's really close to my favorite channel despite slow updates.

heck, I still subscribe to Too Much for TV even though I hate it.

Finally some updates, although it seems we do not get many of the daily shows and best of the week shows and many of the programs get an error msg

What is the deal with these error messages, I thought it was just me. I just subscribed and almost all daily shows error. Can someone please tell me if the errors go away as the programs are actually loaded?

I've noticed when I watch howard tv on my pvr box I tend to get the occasional error and that categories going to other OD channels thing, but on my regular digital box in my bedroom I don't seem to get the same problems, but I have a different problem that sometimes I need to unplug then replug in the box to get the new content.

A number of the daily shows are no longer available in the system but for some reason Rogers hasn't removed the episodes from their list. Rogers seems to still be having troubles with the on demand system. Hopefully they will get it worked out soon.

This is how rogers responded to my e mail on lack of updates

In your recent email, you have informed us that you would like to see
more updates on the Howard Stern channel.

There will be on average, approximately 40+ hours of Howard Stern
programming available on the service, with approximately 8 hours being
refreshed on a weekly basis including 4 of those hours being the Daily
Show that airs Monday to Thursday (live on radio). These shows will
take
several days to become available on the service.

Also, we will be updating content on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to
begin with so "daily" updates will not be possible at this time.

as rogers has noted weekly or bi weekly updates this fails to live up to the comments up to date programing by early July and many daily and best of the week and other programs will never air

As of this morning HSOD seems to be testing in New Brunswick as TestD. Much like TestC (WWE 24/7 OD) and Anime Network (already launched), they havn't got their own channel numbers and are still only accessable via channel 100.

Rogers should update their website as the full range of programing is not current as advertised by early July, Their is still best of the week from early June what a joke

The service still sucks...I sent an email and got a canned response. Not too happy, guess just keep complaining.:o

Tons of content still missiing, Rogers excuses are becoming old and tired, do not launch the service until the bugs are worked out or do not charge full price early July has long since passed

I was watching a show, new one shocker! and I archived it in active so I can show my folks. I come back a few hours later, and poof. All gone. Not even listed anywhere on the channel. Wonder why?

None of the new updates work. Stupid Rogers!!!!!!

Rogers has again added A number of daily shows, I have to admit even with the problems , delays in updates and complaining (including mine) the service is really good, I just watched the Gene Simmons daily show 8/1 and it was great

it's weird, they do one sad week then this week there's been like 3 updates. Hopefully by the end of summer when everyone is back to work at Rogers things will get even better.
