first week in July, the supposed start of the regular updates and there hasn't been an update all week long. last week we had two updates, you would think Rogers stepping up the advertising of the channel would prompt them to care more about the channel. They don't even fix the glitches that send certain categories to other On Demand services in any kind of timely manner. And Rogers has already paid Stern, so the untimely updates IS Rogers fault.

just was on HSOD and every link took me either to TMN on Demand or to ROD. I don't mind getting TMN for free but really? I pay for this stuff? What gives

I would agree this does appears to be Rogers fault as most likely most on the ROD bandwith is being used for FIFA on demand with games played June 09 still available While HSOD launched 5 weeks ago with few updates and almost no daily shows of new content, Rogers is now advertising HSOD but till now not delivering the content, The followings FAQ"S about HSOD from the IN DEMAND

Please note that these show debut times are approximations. Due to a variety of factors inherent in making a television show available in the On Demand environment, some shows may debut later in some markets than they do in others.

8: How long do the shows stay in my channel guide?
Titles in "Best of the Week" typically stay up for 8 weeks. Titles in Daily Shows stay up for 3 weeks. Titles in the other categories will always last about a month each.

9: Will I see the same shows my buddy sees in his area?
We make every attempt to supply identical content to all systems that we work with. Due to the nature of video on demand, individual titles may run into technical difficulties during the delivery process. If you ever notice discrepancies between what you see on your guide and what we show on our schedule page, please let us know. While certain technical difficulties may prevent the title from being able to appear, if we are aware of the discrepancies that you are seeing locally, we can work with your system to try to prevent issues on a going forward basis.

Rogers and indemand are not the same in any way.The high fees that rogers has to pay as of now can not offer what indemand offers.

I would agree In Demand and Rogers Cable are in no way alike , In Demand is a Content provider which provides content to digital cable companies like Rogers in Canada, Comcast /Time Warner , Cox in the US, In demand provides Content such as The Centre ice hockey package, Extra Innings baseball package, the programming for these packages are pretty much the same in the US and Canada, there is no reason HSOD should be much different either, The cost in the US is $13.99/mth and Rogers offers the same for a comparable $16.99, For the most part Rogers does a great job for offering products such as the Super Sports Pak

I have been dealing with rogers over the past few weeks, each time they would send a tech guy to my house the upgrade the ticket noting that it was a problem at their end with their servers. first they got 3 shows up for me a while ago and today I was talking to them and they got one june best of the week up and 5 daily shows. They are telling they are going to try and get 15 daily shows and 8 weeks up by sunday night. I did not check, but they wanted to know if there were any other categories having problems. If your problem is not fixed I would call support as they seem to think as they always have been thinking that everything is working fine with howard tv.

I noticed 5 daily shows and one best of the week along with one favorite guests (David Lee Roth) have been updated , many categories have not been updated, including the Artie roast, the mayhem follwings the roast , John Stamos, Cindy Margolis etc, but a over all a good start

Glad to see the content updated. This channel is well worth the money to see the antics that go on.

Rogers has added alot of new content to HSOD but may of them have an error msg when you try to load them 'unable to retrieve video' on items like John Stamos, Fitness Virgins but over all things are improving

they are showing signs that they may eventually match what the US are getting. usually during best of weeks they do daily shows from the Krock days but they only have the last week they were on air. Hopefully there'll be another update or two this week.

There will only be one update per week.Hod is not one of the top money makers not to say they should not update it.There top money maker is rod.

jayme stop stating things as fact that you don't know anything about. they've already updated twice a week the past couple of weeks. on their website they state there will be multiple updates as well.

Again you can not go by what the indemand web sites says.Rogers and indemand are in no way are connected.

noone is, they are just using the indemand website as reference to what's on the US version of howard tv. though much like rogers, some cable outlets don't add the new shows in a promptly manner.
