The TSNHD logo isn't there on tomorrow's schedule, so I'm guessing it's a mistake.

I'd be more prone to believe this site:

And it really does suck that TGC is getting the golf now, this basically means no HD in early rounds. Granted we never did before, but with ESPN/USA covering early rounds, you could at least see the possibility of HD down the road.Well with TGC carrying early rounds we will likely see more hours of coverage than in the past as TGC would get better ratings with live golf than instructional shows or whatever.

I don't know if the fact that TGC does 1st and 2nd round coverage will affect the likelihood of getting HD. I believe the equipment is typically provided by the network airing the weekend golf so if NBC/CBS is doing HD then the equipment will be there. Of course, ESPN has an HD channel(s) and TGC does not, but they may in a few years. But it is weekned coverage in HD that really matters to me as I don't get the chance to watch the early rounds.

Try this one

Looks like only the Masters and the PGA will be in HD, and only on weekends on CBS.

According to this thread (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=655828) on AVS, all 4 days of the Masters will be on CBS HD.

I guess I know what I'll be doing on those daysI It's one of only a few sporting events that make every effort to watch. It's gotta be the classiest production of any sport I've seen. Go Mikey!
I checked the CBS HD programming site - they only show the next week, just like TSN. Wouldn't you think they'd have a better handle on things? I can't wait for the day when HD is the norm...

As posted on http://www.pga.com/news/pganews/pgamedianewsletter/nbc050206.cfm its seems NBC is doing the Senion PGA Championship in HD and "NBC Sports, which will subsequently present its regular golf broadcast coverage in high definition as well."

Unfortunately this is totally misleading for this year, as far as I can tell, the only golf tourneys NBC has for the rest of the year is the US open! Hopefully this also includes the Ryder cup, but seeing as its in Europe, I doubt it?

Well it could be good news for next year. Under the PGA Tour's new TV deal, NBC has added events like the Match Play Championship and the Tour Championship which belonged to ABC in the past.

Actually, NBC has the US Open (June) and the PGA plus most of the late summer PGA tour stops as part of it's telecast.

If in fact they cover all of those in HD it will be really sweet.

Aside from the Masters, there was a period two (?) years ago where all the CBS broadcasts were in HD when it was sponsored by Argent.

NBC does not have the PGA Championship, CBS does.
thegman was right, they only have the US Open, Ryder Cup and the ADT Skills Challenge(yay!!!!) for the rest of this year.

My bad.

Now that you mention it, I seem to recall NBC losing / not renewing some of its traditional coverage.

As I mentioned in my original post, they have actually added to their schedule next year. It's ABC that has basically been shut out next year except for the British Open.

No idea if TSN picked up the senior pga round 1 in HD yesterday, as I didnt check. Might check it out today.

Above link also makes mention of the Ryder cup. Would be sweet if indeed the Ryder cup is in HD.

Ive had it on for about 10 minutes now, and not one HD shot. So if TSN is indeed showing it in HD, then nbc aint using hd cameras on the course.

Commentators just mentioned on how its being broadcast in HD, and it should look good, etcetc.. Guess TSN dropped the ball as usual. I guess its only the Seniors, and not that important, but still....

2nd edit: USA logo has been replaced by UniversalHD logo now, and is broadcasting in HD.. Took about 45 minutes, but finally kicked in.
