still nothing in winnipeg either I wonder when there going to add it today.

i called them up 2 min ago they told me they launched the new channels today......but not in Thunder Bay, i asked when we'll get these channels they said shortly, i also asked aboiut the remainder of the HD channels that we don't have ( nhb abc pbs ctv HD) they were shocked that we didnt have the channels and then they said they are sue they should be comming soon. i hope we get these channels soon if not we will only have 4 HD channels cause tsn and sportsnet we got to pay extra for. :mad: but i guess we'll see

But it's not authorized yet. Guide is partially filled (listings until 1 pm last time I checked at 9:45 am local time)

311/CTV on in Calgary. Looks like it's Vancouvers, just with the time differences in show's. Still no prime time listings though

they didnt say they were adding discouvery maby its coming tommorow or next week. and no ctv or timeshifts avalable in winnipeg yet.

On the Shaw page under HDTV -> The Programming, Discovery was listed earlier this morning, now gone from the list.

Under channels in my area with Winnipeg postal code CTV has been added.:( Much rather have discovery.

At present in Kelowna, Channels 203 (adult) and 231-240(Canadian time shifts) have been added to the Guide and Channels 231-240 are showing content.

No new HD channels yet, just the 301-309 old ones.

Earlier today, I called Shaw about a problem I was having with one of my cable boxes and after that was resolved I talked with a CSR. She told me that I also should be getting CTV HD and Discovery HD today and A&E HD in September sometime. As of a few minutes ago there have been no new HD channels show up so I am impatiently waiting.

I have a feeling that Discovery HD has been bumped until September 4 or 5th as thats when A&E HD is launching.

Well according to the shaw website channnel guide, vancouver has ctv, and calgary has ctv and discovery.....

I just noticed CTVHD available on ch.311 and DSCHD available on ch.312. I honestly don't know what CTVHD is for and does cause none of the current content is in widescreen nor HD. Discovery is amazing and I'm thankful for it.

Edit: I'm an idiot... it's the eastern feed for HD timeshifting :D

I tune in to 312 and it displays that I'm not authorized, 311 is working fine.

Just another happy person here in winnipeg, just got home to see ctv, discovery and the timeshifts coming in loud and clear. Good job shaw!
