So does it work with a external S-ATA storage drive?

Reading up on AVSFORUM.com and will work with Comcast Cable in US.

Anyone try it with a Shaw 6412 yet?

I think they need to impliment a firmware update to get this to work. I to have heard rumours about people on comcast being able to do this but I am still skeptical.

Where is this thread on AVSForum that states people have gotten external serial ATA drives working on Comcast 6412 boxes? I've seen this mentioned here twice, but I can't find it. I've found threads where people state that Comcast had plans to enable the external SATA port but stopped the development program to do something else. Can someone post a link to this thread?
