I don't think there's an option to change your username, you may be able to contact xbox support and try though...

Yes, you can change your username, but it costs 800 MS points. :(

bleach, I assume that when you logged into Live you were signed into your original account. Basically all you've done is rename it to your new Live login name.

I don't believe there is. You can change whether your profile automatically logs in or not when the 360 boots, but if you have the ethernet connected to a working internet connection, it will login your profile AND login to Live. If I don't want to be on Live for whatever reason, I just disconnect the ethernet and my profile will login, but I will not be connected to Live.

Hey all. I was wondering if any of the 360 users in this forum were interested in exchangeing gamertags or maybe organizing a Digital Home User party or gaming session. I have couple of friends on the east coast and it's tough to find time to play with them since I usually play after 8 pm PST during the week. I bought Rainbow Six Vegas 2 when it came out and never really played it until recently since I have about 4-5 friends that play together fairly often. The terrorist hunts are pretty fun when there's more than 2 people.

All I know is that I love video games (although that doesn't mean I'm the best at playing them) and I tend to get irritated when reading other forums. ...I'm pretty crap as well. I prefer RPG's or turn-based strategy. When it comes to shooters my 8 year old has no problem fraggin' me many times over before I'm even aimed up properly. I still enjoy Gears for the simple fact that I suck so badly...and I get a hoot at listening to the 12 year olds cussin' me out. Honestly, some of that language would make a sailor blush!

...count me in! But you are right to be concerned about interest...this is such a diverse crowd on Digital Home you might only get a dedicated handfull...still...

On one hand it would be nice to filter all the gaming content into smaller categories (Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo/PC?). On the other hand having all the gamers thrown together in here is a refreshing change from other forums where the kids haven't learned to get along ;)

I personally like the way the video games forum is. There are so many cross platform titles that it is really worthless these days to sub forum unless you have a huge disparity toward one over the other. From my time here at DHC there is a fair mix of each system owner on here with many being multiple console owners. With the ability to have stickies at the top I believe we offer enough singular places to view content along with the search feature. Just my opinion.
