: Rogers on Demand basic question

Hi!

(I have looked hrough the faqs and have not seen the answer so please pardon me if it has been mentioned.)

I am sure this is a dumb question but: I just got the higher bandwidth the other day and along with it is Rogers on Demand. I see there is a huge list of programs and movies available but I have only briefly looked at it.

Am I to understand that many of these shows and movies are free? (I have the Movie package.) If a program was not free does the PIN etc work the same way as a PPV movie?

Thanks,

Tom

There are several On Demand channels available, (TMN OD, ROD, Treehouse OD). TMN On Demand is free with a TMN subscription (or Moview Pack). Rogers On Demand is mostly pay per view, with a limited amount of free videos.

When you have the TMN on Demand, does your Rogers bill include a list of what has been ordered that month? I know the Rogers on demand would (since you're paying for those individually), but does it show you the TMN stuff that's free?

Tom, just to add.

There are many free and paid for offerings but the good news is the VOD tells you the price and you have to confirm any purchase.

The PIN requirement I believe is a setting in your box.

Cyphon, I don't believe the free stuff shows on your bill.

No - anything ordered up on TMNOD or Treehouse on Demand is not listed on your bill.

Just to add to what others have said, all programming on TMN on Demand (ch. 308) is free as part of your subscription to TMN. If you tune into Rogers on Demand (ch. 300 for example) just browse through everything and it will tell you what's free and what's not.

It's free but the compression on the channels is excessive.

I haven't noticed the picture being different than the broadcast.
