Just wonder why can't they build the following 3 functions into 1 box:
1) DSL modem
2) wireless router: 802.11g with Gb LAN ports (even a wire router w/Gb LAN ports is not available up to date)
3) VoIP gateway

The benefits are:
A) easy management with only 1 web interface
B) easy support: only 1 tech support guy to deal with
C) easy setup: 1 power outlet, reduced interconnect cables
D) lower manufactory cost while selling price may higher (good for the producers)
...

If D-Link or Linksys can't release such product in time, many other competitors will, I believe.

such device exists..
check out SpeedTouch 716 series..It offers DSL modem, wireless G router and VoIP gateway all three in one..However, there're rumours about the poor performance of ST716g (now discontinuous and replaced by 716 v5 WL)..

However, I don't think the big names have this kind of three-in-one box yet.
