1 866-934-5644 from the Logitech Canada website. I know there was a special number for Harmony remotes, but that probably went directly to the US. I find it hard to believe that Logitech Canada can't help supply you with a battery.

I called that number earlier in the day and as I go through the automated system, I'm told that Harmony support is at another number (a US one). I spent all day calling various numbers and could only get shipping within the US. Not Canada.
If you go to logitech's online store, they only sell the battery on the US store and only ships to the US. The Canadian store has nothing.

Well I'm sure glad I didn't buy a Harmony that has a rechargable battery. My 550 just takes regular old alkaline batteries. It's pretty sad that they don't offer batteries in Canada.

I've seen replacement batteries on eBay. Can't vouch for the quality but there are two types. One is black and described as an identical substitute. The other is white and looks exactly like the battery in my 880. IIRC, they are being sold out of China.

I bought my replacement battery from China on eBay. Took about 20 days to make it, but it's the only battery that worked. I bought one of those black batteries and it doesn't work. The remote does not recognize it as a valid battery. The white one cost me $13 with free shipping.

I needed a new adapter plug for a Logitech Ipod speaker since my teen lost the original one. I had the same problem - on sale in the US from Logitech for $10, but no way to order it in Canada. I made what sounds like the same phone call circuit. I ended up sending a polite detailed e-mail note to Logitech Canada general support, with the request to buy a cord, and outlining my efforts and problems getting the part in Canada. They had one shipped to me free of charge.
I doubt that you would get a battery free, but I would try e-mailing, or even writing by snail mail to Logitech Canada.

Just to let you know I had a problem with my harmony one remote the battery swelled up an became stuck inside, it would not longer hold a charge, it looks like this might be a common problem for the harmony one as they replaced my out of warranty remote immediately, without any questions. Great service. I wouldn't mess with batteries getting stuck though, call tech support first.

My Harmony One started acting up. It kept sending codes after the button was released. One time it happened with the volume up button. That's a real problems when you have over 1000 watts blasting out 8 speakers in the living room. It started happening just a couple of months out of warranty, of course, just like the 880 display started going downhill just out of warranty. (They never did fix the charging issue. The new base they sent lasted just until... you guessed it... the warranty ran out.)
So I purchased a replacement battery from China for $10, betting it's a likely suspect and the cheapest fix. The battery label is identical to the original and, I figure, it can't be any worse than the ones Logitech is shipping. I hate Logitech remotes but I'm stuck with them due to the WAF of the activity buttons. I can do macros that do a fine job with other remotes but they don't have the single button simplicity that other family members require.
