This is a great show, and the upcoming episodes look the S**t! Can't wait to follow this new show as I think it will be the new 24, until 24 comes on lol!

I forgot about it. Just checked and they are re-airing this episode on Thursday Night for those of us who missed it.

I loved it! The wife thought it to be a little violent but for some reason I just love Prison movies. Can`t wait till next week

This is going to be one of the hits of the year...definately on the must see list! The wife did not like the end of the premiere (was the only part I could trick her to watch :) ).

I thought this show was very good. It has great potential and I hope the writers do not mess it up.

Looks like I will have to use the PVR for this show while I watch Monday Night Football.

But the story line is lame... They would know you're an Engineer that helped designed this prison... and they would not send you there because you would know too much and be a security risk. When you’re an inmate in the federal prison system they can put you anywhere they like even in another state.... and most likely you’re not going to be in there with your brother. So to go and commit an armed robbery of a bank just to get caught because you want to break your brother out of this prison that you built...... so lame.... so lame!

I had large reservations about this show and almost didn't bother to record it. But I am glad I did. It seems quite intersting so far. I am just curious how they are going to make a series out of it.

HDTV101: Sorry but get over it. It is just TV after all. Most shows take factual liberties to advance a plot or even tell the story. It may be lame but get over it and enjoy the rest of the show. :)

Good show, look forward to watching it through the season.

YAY!! I have been waiting for it. My only worry is that they will stretch the show out and it will begin to stink... like they did with Lost.

I know exactly what you mean and I've noticed this with a lot of new hit shows i.e. they start out with a fresh exciting new concept which soon runs out of gas and then the story lines become really silly or un-believable!

Like the idea that "a brother commits a crime so he can end up in the exact same prison as his brother so he can break him out" is not silly or un-believable?

In a TV Guide report a few months back, the author of the series has mentionned it isn't meant to be a returning series like 24. I hope they don't turn it into a long one cause it will get tiresome pretty quickly. It is a good show until now so let's keep it that way.

^ They can only go on with this "I have a million cool ideas about how to break out of prision" for so long. I mean 100 episodes later it becomes pretty boring. So I would say that they have to get out this season. A future season may be how they cope on the outside being fugatives from justice.

I can't believe they had the lights dimming on and off when they were testing the electric chair! The producers are perpetuating one of the biggest myths used in prison movies i.e. that the prison power supply is affected when testing the chair! The electric chair used in executions had its own D.C. power supply while the rest of the prison used regular A.C. current.
I recall several prison movies made during the 1950's where a couple would be dancing to a phonograph record and the music would slow down and the lights would dim on and off several times and the man would tell his partner that they must be testing the chair at Sing Sing.
When questioned about this, the warden of Ossining State Prison (Sing Sing) stated several times to the press that this was an invention of Hollywood and never, ever happened!

I was not that impressed with last night episode. Maybe cuz I'm sick and wasn't fully focused. I dunno.

I have a feeling that Lincoln dies next week in the chair and they go ahead with the escape themselves... either that or they fail to electrocute him in the chair and his execution is stayed until it can be investigated which gives Schofield a chance to get him out. At this point I can't see his execution being delayed especially since they are already showing preview pictures of him in the chair with the helmet on, etc
