ok. i have a coldfront approaching, had fog and overcast skies for most of th eday today, with a brief shower around 5:00 PM Eastern Time.

I am picking up all SORTS of stations from the London area tonight the stations are:

WVIZ-TV 25 (Cleveland) (severe interference from WLPC-LP 26 and WNWO-TV (NBC 24 Toledo), but WATCHABLE! this is the first time in years that i've picked up a cleveland station, and the first time i ever got WVIZ.
CITY-TV-2 31 (Woodstock) (severe co-channel interference with WPXD-DT also on 31)
CFTV-TV 34 (leamington) (severe co-channel inteference with WQHS-DT 34 Cleveland, a battle over static with black bars :P)
CBLN-TV 40 (London) (severe co-channel interference with WLMB-TV Toledo, but watchable)
CHCH-TV-2 51 (Alvinston) (nearly clear as a bell)
CFMT-TV-2 69 (London) (watchably good, first time ever)

Current Conditions at Windsor Airport (CYQG): 12°C (56 °F), Partly cloudy, with ceiling at 22,000 feet (7100 meters). Winds are calm. Humidity is at 88%, the barometer is at 100.95 kPa (29.81 inches of mercury). Visibility is at 19.0 km.

CFMT-TV-2 69 was a complete shock for me.

When i type in channel 15 on my television, it stays black for 2-3 seconds, like it'st rying to lock, but then shows static, instead of "Weak or No Signal". What could channel 15 be?

Similar conditions at the same time last night when I checked here and I had lost both WIVB and WGRZ. I have never recieved WNYB so not sure about it, but WKBW was down to just 1 bar...

15.1 is CKXT (SUN TV) transmitting from Hamilton- off the CHCH tower.

don't know if it was good dxing last night or what but was picking up Erie PA Fox 66.1 PBS 54.1/2/3 and 35.1/2/3 looks like its Erie's CBS CW and is it NBC all using subs on 35?? I think that's a good idea to save them some money. I still get FOX now and 35 is cutting in and out if I could only get the 80ft walnut tree in my yard down wonder if Erie would be like this all the time? I use to get Erie here in Cambridge as a kid in the 80's on analog no problem.

Anyone else missing WGRZ 2.1/2.2 tonight?

Two of you seem to be having Buffalo station problems this evening - what's the weather like?

On my RJ-Tech, I have a 90% signal strength on wgrz 2.1/.2, but no programing at all.

On another tv with a cm7000, I have normal programming.

On a third tv with a cm7000, I had normal programming and then when I rescanned, wgrz will not lock in at all.

They must be doing something at their end. Maybe they are setting up for the new 2.3 channel [for RTN] psip etc.

All other channels are good, even the Erie channels are coming in strong. Usually the Erie channels are the first to go in odd weather conditions.

Yes, I'm getting no sound on WGRZ 2.1 and 2.2.

I just went out to the shop and wgrz was coming in at 100%. Everything was quite normal. When I rescanned the cm7000 out there, the scanning bar paused a while at the real channel 33 [2.1] mark but wgrz would not lock back in.

WGRZ 2.1 and 2.2 are still out for me this morning.

Same. Still no WGRZ 2.1 and 2.2. CBS is back in business for me, though. :(

i lost wgrz last night some time too.

with the good weather ive been recieveing it very consistantly but not yesterday. anyone shot them an email to find out whats goin on?

No WGRZ for me this morning either.

the Detroit channels rolled in this evening around 10:30 PM. Been watching them since. Just wanted to let the London boys know.
Also, looks like late Thursday and early Friday should be prime for Dxing in Southern Ontario.
Can't wait.

Well, i'm getting some odd DXing at this time of day (late afternoon)... CHCH-TV-2 on 51 is coming in fuzzy but viewable and in colour. WEAO-TV 49 from Canton, Ohio is coming in BARELY, and WUDT-CA (Univision 23, Detroit) is getting strong co-channel interference from WVPX-TV 23 (ION Cleveland).... still getting CHWI-TV-60 on channels 35 and 36 intermittently, and when it pops out from 36, i get WUPW-TV weakly on 36.

WTOL-TV 11 (CBS Toledo) is stable but black and white and fuzzy. WTVG-TV 13 is intermittent but when it's in, it's fuzzy and in colour. No digital for either. WTOL is experiencing strong interference and signal weakening, though i'm not sure why. the picture is in colour but very dark and looks like crap.

Channel 17 has random horizontal static lines (not the rolling black bars like with co-channel interference). could this be the digital signal for WTOL-DT, or is it from a different station?). Channel 27 has the same thing.

WMYD-DT (21) seems a bit unusaully bright in colour, while CIII-TV-22 is unwatchably bad. WVIZ-TV 25 (PBS Cleveland) is coming in but BARELY.

55-1 WFFT-HD Fort Wayne Indy FOX DTV channel 36
and finally the stubborn 25.1 WVIZ PBS and it's sub channels 25.2 WVIZ oh, 25.3 WVIZ Wo, 25.4 WVIZ cr and 25.9 CRRS
the so tough 38.1 WADL-DT and 38.2 WADL-DT one of the Detroit area independant stations.
