God I hate you Darth...

I've been entering those damned codes all day!

I play this all the time. I used to dump as many codes as I could gather per day but now I just put in one an huor when I think of it...I think of it often ;) I want one real bad but I can't afford it.

Yeah, I know what you mean about those codes. I think that I have developed carpal tunnel (sp?) from answering surveys for the past few weeks.

And Bdub, if you think you hate me, you should see the grade 7 and 8 boys at the school I am vice principal of. I have been teasing them all week that I won. For example, in math class, I made sure that the answer to the first couple of questions was 360. Then, when a student read the answer, I'd add something like, "Yes, 360 is correct. Speaking of 360, did I tell you that I won..." I've been having a lot of fun with this.

This week, I plan on bringing their corrected math assignments to them in my Party in a Box metal case that arrived yesterday. That should really get them going.

I am evil. I'm sure that they are going to egg my house soon!

Finally, are you aware that it is perfectly fine to set up accounts for each member of your family? This increases the number of surveys that you can fill out per hour. My winning code came from completing one of the free surveys.

Darth,

That's hilarious. Great payback for the crap you no doubt put up with.

I've been doing the 1 code/hour thing. I don't know that I could stand doing it for multiple accounts. I swing between the multiple code dump, and the one per hour tactic. Neither has worked.

I have a 360 paid for, but wouldn't mind saving $570.

Did you hear about the new flavour of Doritos? qwerty.

Not too much crap quite frankly. I work at a great school.

Those qwerty doritos sound delicious.

Hey, have you heard of any kiosks with 360's in them in Canada?

I've been doing those surveys all the time and they never send me a pin.

Are you using hotmail? There seems to be a problem with getting the pins through these accounts.

Check your trash or spam. They might be in there.

I use a gmail account, and have had no problems with the pins.

Good luck!

Newf, I switched to gmail for that reason.

At first they went to the junk mail directory, and then they stopped coming altogether.

Darth:

See http://www.risingconcepts.com/frapper/xbox360kiosks for kiosks.

How are you guys entering so many times? Are you drinking that much Pepsi and eating Doritos? I'd like to enter, but I can't see myself buying more than a couple of bags of chips (don't like pepsi).

I would think that beginning of Nov we'll start to see the 360 kiosks in canada.

Not that it will really make a difference for myself. I think i'll be avoiding them since Nov 22 is still a LONG ways away. Playing on a 360 in walmart and then having to go home and wait till the end of Nov would drive me nuts.

Well Faston, because we live in the wonderful country of Canada, contests have to all for "No Purchase Necessary" entries. This contest is no exception. So, if you go to the Official Rules link on the bethefirsttoplay.com web page, scroll down to the 7th rule. It contains a link to a survey. If you complete the survey, you will get a free pin code sent to your email address.

So, while I have had to injest more Pepsi and Doritos than usual this month, I have answered a ton of surveys. The pin that I won with was actually a free one.

Good luck!

The new www.xbox.com website is up today. Looks like it is redesigned for the 360.

Found something interesting here http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/xbox360/physics.htm

It says "Xbox 360™ launches the next generation in home entertainment. With it, you can watch home videos, listen to music, view photographs, screen DVDs in 720p, and more." That last bit reads to me like it's upconverting DVDs.

There's a 360 kiosk set up in my local Wal-Mart but you can't play it, it just has a countdown to when the 360 is released

Apparently the 360 kiosks have been interfering with the wireless hand-held scanners in the stores.

Buritto,

How do you know this?

Do they send something detailing your disqualification?

I've forgotten what time I requested a PIN in the past, and logged on. They just display a message that you already have a PIN for that hour.

Are you saying that the account used can never win?

In bold...

7. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: To enter without purchase click this link to login or register with the "BE FIRST TO PLAY™!" contest site and complete the online survey. Once survey is complete, a No Purchase PIN code will be sent to the email address provided during registration. Limit one (1) request for a No Purchase PIN code per hour during the Contest Period per person, while supplies last. Attempting to receive more than one (1) No Purchase PIN code per hour will result in all of an entrant’s No Purchase PIN code requests being deemed void and ineligible for entry into any draw throughout the remainder of the Contest Period. No Purchase PIN codes must be entered within 24 hours of request and must be entered by the email address that submitted the request. Each PIN code can only be used once. Requests robotically reproduced or made in any fashion other than an individual completing the survey are void. Purchase does not enhance a person’s chance of winning.

Lol,

I'm suprised they never sent you a e-mail saying you've been disqualified.
