It requires an external decoder. No 6-channel analogue output. Can you even buy consumer devices with the decoders built in anymore? (obviously I don't mean recievers) My first DVD player had a decoder built in, and actually, my second too...but I haven't even seen that option advertised recently. Make sense, since 5.1 decoding recievers can be had for so cheap nowadays. Hmmm... | |
