Well, I was truly happy with my purchase until tonight. The kids were playing HALO before they went to bed on the big screen and after I got the garbage gathered and put out I sat down to watch CSI and wouldn't ya know it. No picutre on the TV. I thought maybe it was the satellite but I also can't get a picture from the XBOX or the DVD player. I also can't view the menu. The speakers make a warbling sound when the TV is switched on. I am not sure what the problem is but I am now without a TV and I've only been able to watch 2 movies on it. I've had it about 3 weeks now.

Does anyone know if I need to call Best Buy or Toshiba?

Call BB tell them you want a replacement set. No need to service a 3 week old tv.

Wow!! Thanks for the quick reply RNA. I will make a visit to the store first thing in the morning...well after I drop the kids off at school and of course once they open.

Just to keep everyone informed...I went to BB yesterday morning and asked to exchange the dead set for a new one of the exact same model. Absolutely no problems at all...it was an after thought that they asked me if there was even anything wrong with the set I am sure glad I didn't fall for the pitch at that other place where they have a 7 day return policy (Sou##Ar##nd)

Now if only I didn't have to wait until the 17th. Staring at a 57" black screen isn't very enjoyable.

Trade went well. Had to wait a week for delivery cuz I needed to have someone home but not their fault. They didn't even ask what was wrong with the set until everything was arranged. New set has been up and running a week now no problems so far.

You say it is on sale today? Is that simply a Boxing Day only price though?

Dark pictures look grainy for a sec or 2
