Top 20 Last week (http://digitalhomecanada.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=88&Itemid=51)
Survivor was #1 followed by CSI but Desperate Housewives in third! Pretty good for a newcomer.
Also pretty amusing Six episodes of CSI or derivatives in the top 20.

Interesting stuff.
The first thing I noticed is that only 2 of the top 20 are homemade (CTV Evening News and Corner Gas, #s 12 and 13) which likely shouldn't come as a surprise. Our networks couldn't survive without leeching the majority of their content from elsewhere.
But in following the links to the BBM home I found something puzzling. Corner Gas, while showing as #13 in the national numbers (~1.5 million viewers) doesn't show up in the top 20 in any of Toronto, Ontario as a whole or Vancouver. So in what backwater locale are they finding a million-and-a-half viewers?!!
Also was surprised not to see Lost on any of the lists. I read previously that CTV had not originally planned to include Lost on its schedule and did some shifting to be able to show it (and naturally simsub it) after it premiered to big numbers in the US. It's a top-10 show stateside but I guess hasn't caught on here judging by these numbers.

So in what backwater locale are they finding a million-and-a-half viewers?!!Hey...watch it.
Well just because people in cities that have populations that are a majority of ESL, I'd say its not suprising that no one watches it there. Ditto for Quebec.
I'd say alot of people on the praries watch this show. It's not a shw for those in the bog cities, and while I'm in Calgary, my family had roots in Saskatchewan, and can relate to alot fo the small town things that happen on this show. So if you count ALTA, SASK, and MB, I'd say this show is huge on the prarie, and screw the rest of Canada id they don't get it, or care to watch one of the funniest Canadian show's that's not CBC related (A first that I can remember).

I agree, Corner Gas is a great comedy show.
I bet it would be a success in the States too if some channel carried it.
It's simple, extremely funny and without any pretensions or complicated plots.
Pure Genius, I love it. :)
