I have a bell hdpvr and has worked great for 4 years. I have my HDTV hooked up to receiver via hdmi. Recently when I turn on tv, it says no signal. I have been able to fix it by unplugging the hdmi cable from the back of the sat. receiver and plug it back in, then it works until I turn the tv off, then I have to repeat this procedure to get it to work again. It is annoying since the receiver is and has not been touched in a long time (meaning I have not moved it recently). Any suggestions??? Thanks a lot!

Yankee... when this happens...try selecting a different input or channel on your TV then go back to your original input ...this may help. I know that in my tv sometimes when i have been watching a OTA channel with 1080i ...and then i go to the 6131 input (720) on my tv i get a message with a black screen saying something about a incorrect resolution error. I then do the channel change and go back and everything is fixed!:)

Here's an FAQ on HDMI Issues and things to check at the bottom. Perhaps starting things up in a different order will help, or unplugging the HDMI cable at both ends and reversing their position to create a better electrical connection (TV end at PVR end and PVR end at TV.):
