I have noticed a few months back that the menu screen keeps on coming up periodically on the screen by itself. I have to hit the "Exit" button in order to get rid of it. It is starting to appear more often now and is starting to get annoying. I downloaded the new software for it and that didn't seem to fix the problem. Would it be worth while to get it fixed or just "bite the bullet" and buy a new T.V. Thanks.

Check to make sure you don't have any IR interference from CFLs, Sunlight or other items affecting the TV, discussed in the following thread:
