I have one of the original SBGH antennas I built years ago in my house. It was made quite simply to experiment with performance, and not constructed for the outdoors. It worked so well I never bothered to make a weatherproof version.
After adding new siding with that foil-backed insulation needless to say I have terrible reception through a window :(
I have collected all the materials that I should need to do a new build, but after tons of reading I am at a loss as what variation I should use.
Here are the TVfool results (http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3d67d9c42d40f3b6) The only channel I have had huge difficulties with is the channel 9. The rest I can get in with fair reception, but have to turn the antenna a bit left or right between channels.
I have a large tower at approx 35 to 40 foot height when I am done, but not sure what I will be putting up there yet:confused:
Your help would be appreciated, just let me know if you need anymore info, thanks!
