I just purchased a 9241 from Bell and it requires two (2) cables from the satelite. I already have an SW44 at the dish to feed 4 receivers. I deactivated an old 2700. So with the new 9241, I still have four receivers but need an extra RG6. Since my SW44 is at the dish, what can I do to get that extra cable? Everything I have read is Dish to Multiswitches to SW44's.
Thanks in advance.

I read that thread and everything is there to set it up but I was hoping I didn't have to go up on the roof and insert a switch or switches before my existing SW44.

Sadly you are out of luck.
You cannot split a line when using Legacy equipment, which is what you have.
You could always add a 2nd Dish.

I think the answer is to rewire so all switches are in the house and do it properly. Thanks for the help.

That certainly would be a very good idea.
