I have an 8642 with no changes to my setup, been running solid for about 1 year now.

This week starting on Monday channel 7 - City TV stopped working. When I try to tune the channel it just shows a black screen.

If I try to watch a "City News" recording from channel 7 it just goes to the Rogers PVR channel 950 playback channel.

All other channels, recordings are working fine. I've rebooted everything.

Even channel 15, the new City News station is working great. Anyone else have an experience like this?

Check your signal strength and S/N ratio - nothing may have recorded if the signal for that channel has been low:

I've checked the stats, they don't seem to indicate a signal problem based on what I read in the link.

Current QAM
Freq: 117.000 MHz
Tuning Mode: QAM-256
Level: -5 dBmV
S/N: 35 dB (sometimes 36 dB)

I'm pretty sure this issue is only happening during the City News at 6pm. I'll have to check it again tomorrow when the news is on.

I'm watching channel 7 now, it's tuned in no problem. Weird.
