I bought a Sony BX320 last year. It is a very competent TV and the size is perfect in my bedroom.

My friend wants to buy one for his bedroom as well and I am wondering if this is still a good TV as compared to other makes?

I paid $419 (CAN) last year and the price did go down a bit, now $399.

I wouldn't recommend any Sony products at this point. They are really out of the picture per say when it comes to HDTVs !

For $400 today it should at least a back lit LED and even 1080p. Samsung and LG have several LED model at this price range.

I bought a 32" Dynex last year and it performs just as good as my name brand 46" tv, only difference is I paid alot less (compared to other 32" sets) and it only 720P.
