Season 5 of the hit British sci-fi drama PRIMEVAL premieres Thursday, Nov. 10 at 10 p.m. ET in space.

PRIMEVAL follows the Anomaly Research Center (ARC) team as it battles dinosaurs in present day Britain. The dinosaurs appeared when rips in time started opening across the UK, endangering lives and putting the whole of humanity at risk. To deal with these “creature incursions,” a crack team of specialists was appointed by the government, creating the ARC.

The season premiere opens with an attack by a vicious burrowing creature which brings chaos to the city. The team is forced to race from location to location in an attempt to trap it. When the creature launches its final attack, one ARC team member is in the line of fire.

Season 5?!

What really is a massive irritation are the programing guides.

The guide with BeyondTV (computer recording program) only has a generic description, and "Repeat" with each episode.

Ditto for the guide in our Cogeco STB.

And to top it off... so does the guide on spacecast.com, the site for Space.

With everything being generic, how in blazes is someone to catch these things?

Thanks Hugh for the heads-up!

Grrrrrrrrrrrr.....

I have never seen the show but it sounds like Terra Nova stole a lot from this show.

You must watch it! Catch up on the first seasons! It is similar to Torchwood.

CamDAB: Evidently, only the second season had named episodes, so it's not entirely the guides' fault. See epguides (http://epguides.com/Primeval/).

Great show; way better than Terra Nova.

Looking forward to it, and yes, the FibeTV guide is always just a generic description as well.
Agree it's way better than Terra Nova, especially if you've watched it all through and are invested in the characters.

Re gbamber - I don't think it's anything like Torchwood (which I adore) except on paper - okay both shows have a team battling things that come through a rip in time and space so I see your point, but that's where the resemblance ends - however yes I totally agree it is a must-watch!

Stan_Dev, thanks!

Even if they stuffed a "New" instead of "Repeat", it would help.... :-)

The descriptions are one thing, but knowing when something's new certainly would be of assistance.

Thanks for the link, most helpful.

It's what has kept me from watching from re-runs. I NEVER know what episode is going to air! The same happens with Spooks/MI5 and some other British shows I would really like to watch but in order. Hard to do that when I have no idea what episode is airing.
