Could somebody please explain to me what the price difference is between Shaw regular high speed internet and Broadband 50? It says current customers can upgrade for $5 more. I have cable, phone, and internet with Shaw.

Is that all it costs? Just $5 more per month? Or is there a catch?

Has anyone else noticed that recently when you call Shaw tech support the hold times are always more than 1 hour? Crazy.

Long wait times have been discuss in Shaw Cable forum. Shaw reps say they are hiring lots of new staff.

I believe the upgrade for $5 more is a promotion for 3 or 6 months. The difference in price between broaadband 50 and regular high speed last time i looked was $20.

And so far, it doesn't seem to be worth it in my opinion. My download times have never topped 21 mps on Broadband 50. We're hugely disappointed in it.
