Maybe they can take some of that revenue and sink it back into customer service, or perhaps go 1 year without jacking rates on us.

I would rather see them pump that revenue back to improve products and customer service. I don't think any rate decreases are necessary.

Acquisitions and increased customer base made up much of the increase, price increases a relatively small part. I would like to see profit figures before making any judgement.

Well you don't typically see double digit income increases and Shaw is the largest cable provider so I would assume they have the largest profit. The main point was they should be leading the way in terms of HD availability and they are not even close.

For the record, Rogers Communications has higher profits than Shaw Communications.

Rogers has wireless, which is a major cash cow.
