MONTREAL -- Anthony Calvillo is the pro football's career passing leader.

The Montreal Alouettes quarterback broke Damon Allen's all-time CFL record of 72,381 passing yards with a 50-yard TD pass to Jamel Richardson on the final play of the third quarter against the Toronto Argonauts. via the CP

I would like to congratulate AC on breaking the record, I have met him on one occasion and he is a class act individual. What impressed me the most was getting the congratulations from three of the four legendary QB( Marino, Moon and Allen) and a special congratulation from CFL lover Chris Berman.

Once again congratulations to Anthony Calvillo :D

I was pleased to find this featured as part of Chris Berman's fastest 3 minutes segment on SNF - and it wasn't just a throw away 10 second blurb, either, but a rather lengthy (relatively speaking) recap of this historic achievement.

Too bad AC hadn't played a few seasons in the NFL like Warren Moon and Joe Theismann did. He'd be in for a decent pension.
