I have a DCT6412-III and when I try to use my powered HDMI splitter anywhere in the chain (between the box and receiver or between the receiver and my display devices) my DCT sticks its tongue out at me and tells me I'm being bad.

Has anyone tried using a splitter on the new Gateway Portal?
